The bottom frame is known as the PLACE-SUBJECT frame and lists the city or STATE you are visiting, Next to that is listed the CURRENT TOPIC you have chosen along with all the TOPICS VISITED or the sub-topics. In the example above it begans with the PALAKKAD, the state you are visiting. From the DISTRICT PAGE you then chose TRIBES as the subject you wanted to explore. The rest are sub-topics so it reads like this TRIBES: IRULA: FUNERAL: FIELD NOTES: and finally POSSESSION RITUAL which is the CURRENT TOPIC. IRULA is the TRIBE you chose, within that you visited a FUNERAL and so on. These links also act as a navigation bar, meaning you can click on any of them and it will take you to that topic. |
